After getting cut by the Bengals, Pryor's agent has begun informing teams that he is finally willing to switch to WR per profootballtalk.com. Who could have have seen the need for him to switch to WR back in college. He says sarcastically. Unfortunately gotta think it is going to be tough to switch this far in but he is a world class athlete so maybe.

maybe a great athlete at QB. But at WR, doubtful it translates.

Don't know what he weighs these days, but I could easily see him as a Jimmy Graham type TE. He has the size and speed ... not sure about his hands.

There's a reason they call them skill positions. Pryor's never had to learn to block, for example. I guess as a quarterback he knows about running routes, but there's a reason these things seem to never pan out.

Jimmy Grahmn can't block to save his life and he's doing ok in the NFL. He may not dominate, but he seems better suited to be out wide than under center IMO. Then again I thought he was nuts not to this in year 1.

You're assuming he knows what routes are, where they are run, and has the intellect to put those things together.

I never got that. He was never going to like State College. Did we really recruit him hard, or was that just lip service?

I guess we now know how long it takes for an All Big 10 Academic player from Ohio State to figure out he will not make it in the NFL as a quarterback.

Well, Jay recruited him and we would have welcomed him with open arms if he had decided to come to PSU. I don't like to think that we recruit dummies.

Jim......hate to break it to you......but we recruit dummies. I like to think we have fewer of them. Terrelle Pryor is the poster child for a dummy.

Lundy, as a high school athlete he overpowered everyone at that level and played WR quite a few times. He threw and caught TD passes in multiple games. He's lost a lot of time that he could have been improving his techniques but he still is an outstanding athlete.

Probably the most dominant football player I've seen live at the High School level. Watched him play safety against Dunmore in the state championship, he got a running start, jumped over the line, landed on his feet and sacked the QB. On offense he was just as unstoppable.

He played at the AA level, though. He's not making plays like that against NA or Central. Still, he was amazing as a high school player.

Dez Bryant is committed and coachable. I don't think anyone's ever accused Pryor of being either of those two things.
Committed? The guy who is threatening to sit out this season because $13 million isn't enough? Bryant is a nut case who needs a babysitter 24/7 to keep him out of trouble.

WR is Pryor's last shot at NFL$. I bet he'll be as committed and coachable as you could ask for. Whether or not he can beat guys out who have been playing the position for years is another story.

6-6 guys who run 4.4 and played b-ball can often catch the ball. I wouldn't be shocked if he excelled there.

He should have been moved to de/olb in a 3-4. I saw them play Dunmore in AA title game. He had Lavar-esque ability. He even leaped over the center and landed on his feet early in the game. Like Chancellor from Seattle did last year. Not sure if he'd have been tough enough. But, he has the size/speed you want there.

Pryor should have listened to Joe. Joe told him that he should play defensive end at Penn State and if he did then he would be a first round draft pick. Joe was right as usual. Pryor would be the best defensive end in pro football right now if he would have listened to Joe.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if by October he switched to "Tattoo Consultant"....

If Pryor doesn't play football anymore at least he will have his wonderful Ohio State education to fall back on.

As far back as when he was in eighth grade, Scrap was trying to sell him on DE. There are a million things he could have done, but the ship might have already sailed

I am not saying he is not a great athlete. Playing WR in high school is not playing WR in the NFL. Especially at this point in his career.
