Absurd, but not unexpected. I think we should be ahead of both OSU and Washington.
I especially find the lack of "National Co-Champion" Pitt in the final rankings appalling.

I find the Pitt hatred interesting on this board. If they aren't our rivals, why the interest? I legitimately could care less about them and focus on (major, significant, relevant) B1G opponents. We will crush them next year.

Speaking only for myself, my comments are never based upon a hatred of Pitt. My wife is a Pitt grad. I have a number of very good friends who are Pitt fans and read this board but never post. They know who I am and I like to tweak their noses a bit now and then.

I think PSU is viewed as Iowa was last year. Have to be acknowledged with a little pat on the head but noting that they're not quite a big boy. Most of the early polls (espn excepted) have both OSU and UM (despìte replacing 18 starters) ahead of PSU. Thats the Iowa effect. Now, come out next year with guns blazing and perform and win the conference title, and the narrative changes

2016 PSU >>>> 2015 Iowa in terms of offensive output. They probably had a better defense or at least played more effectively on defense.

I get what you're saying. Written off as a flash in the pan, lucky more than good.
