Most of these early polls are just click bait. Just keep winning and everything else will fall into place. I truly believe PSU's key game is Oct. 15 against UM. Walk away with a win in Ann Arbor and watch out
I get that, it's just his opinion. However it's nice to see some people saying that PSU is looking good.
Absolutely and if you travel around the different boards, most consider it a 3-team race in the East between PSU, OSU and UM. That Oct. 15 game against Michigan is shaping up to be a monster.
I was interested in his take on Michigan , not saying I agree but we’ve all seen the cupcake early schedule blowouts by so many teams .

Agree, I don't think anyone has a really solid grasp on how good Michigan is yet. Many of their followers claim it's their weakest OOC schedule in close to 100 years.
Michigan is my number one choke team since forever lol. If psu can beat them and only lose to psu who knows? Again every week is 0-0.
That oct 15th game at Michigan will be a good one. I hope PSU smokes them up there. I for one not placing Michigan on that pedestal as the next big thing in football like many are after one season. Lightning in a bottle last season. Need to see some consistency before I have Michigan as “ huge “
I've started following recruiting lately and I'm really surprised that Michigan hasn't killed it - especially after their one successful year in a looooong time. If you look at the 2022 and 2023 classes, it seems to me that the future is shaping up to be an OSU-PSU battle in the East. Now yea, I realize that player development also plays a big part but just feel Michigan has let a golden recruiting opportunity slip by
One game at a time. This is a relatively young team, albeit with good senior leadership. Cannot afford to overlook anyone including this weeks opponent.
Agree. Like you, I need to see some consistency over a 3 or 4 year period plus I think Captain Weirdo is headed back to the NFL to the 1st team that throws an offer in his face. That would be hilarious.......seeing that pompous, better than everyone else, fan base explode again.
Amen to that! I don’t listen much to the media much anymore but I got the impression after one good year since 2004 they been automatically anointed as the second coming. Ridiculous, lol. I look at our game last year and it was damn close and our team appears to be catching that mojo
It's all about clicks. Anyone who has followed this sport has seen slow starts, fast starts, high rated teams falling, and under the radar teams excel. It's the nature of the sport.
Well, Harbaugh had zero 11+ win seasons prior to last year at scUM - Franklin had 3 (2016, 2017 and 2019).
If we beat Michigan, we aren't losing to OSU at home. Gotta beat Northwestern first.
I agree with this--I do think Michigan's a great team this year but they have yet to play anyone with a pulse. Basically 3 scrimmages so far. Maryland, Iowa and Indiana are their next 3 up--they should win all of those easily. Should be interesting when they're tested for the first time against us.
This team is really good and getting better. I hope we don't get referined, because I think we're going to run all over them.
Only matters if we beat the two Teams we need to beat!
