PSU had many players with the flu vs NW..

And they still won by + 30 and to know-it-all genius part time aren't chair coaches are clueless! Give God a love fans a short derivative of fanatics! And I admit I'm a fan but I watch the game to learn the game not to pretend that I know it. I think a lot of people would enjoy the games more and be less anxious if they would learn along with the young players. But that is Just naive.

So that's the excuse? LOL, Tito's and Lemonadeitis?? Obviously it can play a part and affect performance especially with the early start.

According to Flu stories I'm hearing---from family and friends in health care. This years is worse than others.
I had a respiratory flu two weeks ago. It was the real deal. There may be a stomach flu going around too. One apparantly hit Jalen Hurts two weeks ago. Tough to be at your best when you feel crappy.

I'm trying to follow your lead with that approach this season. I really think next year is the year to win the B1G. With OL attrition mounting this year and Allar still growing into his responsibilities, I don't see an undefeated season but I think if breaks go their way @ CBus and they don't look past Maryland, anything could happen. To this point Allar is about were I expected he would be, not as sharp on the road, but still showing maturity.

This being revealed today various sources...
It seems like it's been a tough start of the year for colds and flu at several schools, at least in Virginia. My son is seeing and experiencing it at his university, and I'm hearing similar reports from parents of kids attending other schools.

Perhaps we should scrap the advice of the CDC and not get flu shots. Apparently, my plumber friends know more than virologists about such things and virologists would make better plumbers .. 😂 😂 LO-phucking-L

My grand neice is a sophomore and she tested positive for covid last week. So this is likely 👍

Stick with football... some things are not black and white...by the way, what's your microbiology background?

Glad you asked. Undergrade Major in Biology taking all grad level classes after my first survey microbiology class at PSU along with several minors total of 230 credits... After PSU Other degrees ... Computer Science and Financial and accounting systems. Undergraduate degrees at Oakland University, in Michigan. Masters degrees in Labor Economics and Labor Law, St. Francis at Loretto, PA. I worked the entire time while I attended classes. The bulk of my work life was spend in Systems Design... and development across all disciplines.. bio and lab test tracking and analytics, engineering, MRI, accounting, healthcare... etc. But I am not a plumber and have no formal training as a plumber. Except, I do know what a Studor Valve is and how to plumb a series of wet vents in a hotel or condos or town homes to avoid drain and waste line clogging issues... a good plumber friend did teach me that so I could help him on a job when he was short handed that never pretends he is educated in virology, immunology, micro cellular biology... etc. He is a great plumber.... now retired. Stick with experts in their fields... and watch football as a hobby. It works for me.
Lol

I had latest strain of flu. Most I know have had it or family member has been infected. Responds well to Plaxlovid if taken early enough. Very contagious. Can go through a team quickly.

That has been our experience here in Tn from Knoxville to Memphis.

Hopefully the team routines gets flu shots (or is at least encouraged to do so by team leadership).

Live and teach h.s. in SEPA. Both my wife and I were sick last week...Dayquil/ Nyquilling w Covid like symptoms. Urgent Care on TH morning as we both felt terrible and couldn't get an appointment on short notice w Primary doctor.

Both tested negative on rapid test. However, we were told to put in for PCR test to be sure re Covid and" you DEFINITELY have something...do not go to work." PCRs were negative.

I rested watching a lot of football and felt well enough to go out into the yard to work on a gorgeous Sunday. She finally felt better yesterday. Each roughly a week start to end. Not sure what it was, but it sure wasn't fun! Both teachers next to me have now had Covid in the last month...and kids are sneezing like crazy and complaining of sore throats. Quite a few k8ds wearing masks again.

We shall see...
