FB Recruiting PSU lands four-star QB, Troy Huhn for 2026 class

I follow several people on X (formerly known as Twitter). It is simply the best source for breaking news today, bar none. I have a good job that allows me to surf the net on days that aren't very busy. Summers for me are usually slow. @Richie O and the guys do a great job but much is only premium.

San Marcos, CA. 6'4" 205 as a Sophomore.

I was just looking at the 2026 class rankings and we are up there (it's still very early) but damn, FSU is shaping up to have a monster class for '26 if they can hold on to everyone. They already have one 5 star and three 4 star recruits.

The highlight video looked good. He’ll likely put on more good weight by the time he gets here. If we can hang on to him. NIL is always lurking in the background.

Really the only source for news at this point. One has to sort through a bunch of crazy, but at least Musk has brought back freedom of speech.

Looks like a solid pick-up. Hopefully they can keep him committed. 🙏
Totally agree. There will be programs all over the USA coming at him with lots of NIL money if not brief cases full of cash. I heard on another channel that Huhn might come from a family with some money. If that is the case it COULD work to Penn State’s advantage. So many of today’s players come from poor families that money is VERY important not only to the player but to the families as well.

Look like he's got nice touch, but boy does he need to gain some velocity on his throws.
His scouting report actually says the opposite.

He has arguably the strongest arm in the class - it's his calling card. But at times struggles with decision-making and trying to fit the ball into too tight of windows.

Rewatched the video. His pass going rolling out to his left at 1:20 had some oomph on it to go 30 yards downfield. But his pass at 2:00 looks like PWO type of throw. So who knows what was selected for his highlights.

Boy, have NIL and the Transfer Portal ever diminished my enthusiasm for personnel news. I mean it's great that kid has committed to us. So why don't I feel anything?
Because he’s not actually on the roster yet. I have given up caring about commitments until they register for classes.
