I missed the first few minutes.

MD just scored with 25:17 left, to go up 1-3. There's a TO -- I'm guessing that PSU called it, but there's no announcement of such.

PSU should have had the draw control, but missed the ball, and MD ended up with the draw control, and then PSU fouled the girl.

MD with another goal off of a nice feed from behind the cage, 1-4, 24:25 left.

And MD wins the draw, again. If that pattern doesn't stop, PSU will not have much of a chance.

3-second call against a PSU defender, so they clear the lane, but it's not a free position. Shot by MD, but a nice save by the PSU GK.

PSU brings the ball up with precision, and is now working their offense in the attacking zone. PSU with the score -- looked like Connell, I think, off of a nice spin move, 2-4, with 22:47 left.

MD with another draw control. Shot by MD misses, but MD retains control. On the restart, PSU forces a turnover, brings it up the field, and goes back on attack. Not sure if it was a shot or not, but PSU still has possession. PSU nearly turns it over, but scoops it up. PSU with a shot, save by the MD GK, then a scrum and a foul on PSU, so MD with possession.

MD brings it up quickly. Free position on the hanging hash for MD, and they score off of it, 2-5, with 19:17 left. Another TO -- again, no idea if it's a TV TO or called by a team.

just got a text from someone at the game. it's pouring rain, and nothing to be gained by pushing back the start, as rain is in the forecast for most of the evening.

Draw violation on MD, so PSU is awarded the draw. They quickly go on the attack. Nice roll of the circle by PSU, and a good feed to the girl that rolled, and PSU with the score, 3-5, with 18:48 left.

They quickly get the ball into the attack zone, and then score off of a nice pass to a girl cutting right down the middle of the arc, 3-6, with 18:22 left

looks as though PSU changed who is taking the draw for them.

PSU comes up with the draw, and quickly gets fouled. After some passes they are in to the attacking zone. It looked like a nice pass to set up a PSU attacker right in front of the net, but MD picked off the pass, and they are quickly on the attack.

MD girl splits the defenders, and comes in free on goal and scores, 3-7, with 16:34 left. Kind of a shame, as PSU was playing nice D on that sequence, but simply got beaten by the girl the scored.

PSU with the draw control. Either a poor pass or a shot from out far by Steph Lazlo, and the MD GK has the ball, and starts her team on the offense. After a foul by PSU they quickly get it into PSU's zone. A shot and it's blocked. The ball is on the ground, and a cover or a hold on MD, so PSU with the ball.

They bring it up and are on their attack. A check by MD gives a free position to PSU on the hanging hash, but nothing. Lazlo sets up Carter in front of the net, but the shot is blocked (looked like a foul by MD, but no call).

MD starts on the attack, but they turn it over at midfield, so PSU goes back on the attack. A nice drive by PSU attacker right down the center of the arc, and PSU with the score, 4-7, with 13:05 left in the half.

PSU with the draw control, and they quickly are in the attack zone. They are working the ball a lot outside. They get it in and get a shot from the side, but MD's GK blocks it, and it falls within the circle, so the GK can get it and start MD on the attack.

They are quickly into PSU's zone, and then they feed an attacker that was wide open (not sure if MD ran a pick, or PSU just lost the girl), so it's 4-8, with 11:41 left

PSU with a foul trying to get the loose ball off the draw. MD quickly has the ball up in the attack zone. MD with another nice goal, 4-9, with 10:46 left. MD kept running isolation plays, and feed another attacker off of the 3rd one, and she scored.

MD on the attack, and takes a nice shot, but PSU goalie with the save.

PSU quickly has the ball up the field. PSU with the shot but it's blocked, and PSU retains the ball. PSU with another shot that's wide, but they retain possession. PSU with a shot off of an iso, but the goalie blocks it, and MD recovers.

They quickly have it up the field and take a shot, but PSU's goalie blocks it -- MD retains possession. Looks like a yellow card on PSU, so they'll play down a player for 2 minutes. There is 6:31 left in the half.

MD attacker tries to split 2 defenders, and gets called for the charge. PSU will probably try to stall, but they take a quick shot and score, 5-10, with 5:47 left. (Pretty sure PSU's coach was calling for them to hold the ball, while they were a man down.) PSU will still be down a player for 1:16.

After the restart, PSU called for a shooting space violation, so MD with a free position. No shot off of the free position. MD working it from behind the cage. MD with a shot that goes wide, and they retain possession. MD girl looks to roll the circle, and at the last second feeds another attacker that is driving down the lane, and MD scores, 5-11, with 2:13 left.

PSU works the ball up the field. PSU attacker tries to split 2 or 3 defenders, and as she gets off a shot she's called for charging.

Just over 1 minute left, and MD on the attack. MD with the shot, it's wide, and PSU with the possession. PSU nearly throws it OOB, but saves the ball, and now they work it upfield. Alas, the buzzer goes off as they are driving to goal.

Halftime, PSU is down 5-11. Not a great situation to be in against the #1 team.

MD working the ball out high, and then down below the cage. PSU defends that rather well, so MD changes their offense. Ball on the ground by MD picks it up. Beautiful feed to a girl cutting to goal, and another score by MD. 5-13, with 26:05 left. PSU just missed picking off the feed.

They are quickly on the attack. PSU nearly turns the ball over, but they scoop it off the ground. And then they do turn it over (I think; may have been a blocked shot -- I looked away while keying in the preceding), so MD again on the attack.

MD pulls their attackers out really high, and then decides to go into their offense. Foul on PSU just outside the 8, so a cleared lane. PSU goalie blocks the shot, and PSU picks up the loose ball. MD player is down, so play is stopped.

PSU races the ball up the field. Stoppage for 3 seconds on MD. PSU attacker splits the D, gets off a shot, but it's blocked by the goalie. Somehow, PSU scoops up the ball. Then a 3 sec call on MD. And then another 3 sec on MD. Steph Lazlo is pretty much being shut down by MD. For that matter, MD's D is making everything tough for the PSU attack. PSU almost loses it off of a double team, but they scoop it up, pass it to a girl that goes to goal and shoots, it's blocked, but it's scooped up by a PSU attacker who fires into a wide open net, 6-13, with 21:31 left. First goal for PSU in the 2nd half

Another 3 sec call on a MD defender. PSU is just outside the 8. They pass off of the whistle, then take a shot, but the MD goalie with the save.

MD brings the ball up the field, and then goes to a high and wide attack. MD's spacing is so good. And just like that, they feed a girl in front of the net that is wide open (not sure how). She fakes a shot, and then shoots high into the net for a score, 6-14. Not sure of the time, and there is a quick TO.

Appears to be a shooting space violation on MD. PSU with the shot, but it's blocked by the MD goalie. They fight for the ball, and the MD defender flips it OOB, so PSU ball. After some time, a PSU attacker rolls the circle without the ball, and is hit with the pass in perfect step, and she shoots and scores. 7-14, with 18:57 left.

PSU with a draw control. PSU on the attack, but seems to be having trouble getting a girl free. Eventually, an attacker tries to split a double team, and ends up losing the ball. MD just executes their offense better than PSU.

MD on the attack. Foul on PSU, which the PSU coaching staff vehemently disagrees with. Turnover by MD, then nearly a turnover by PSU, but they finally get the ball cleared and go on their attack. Again, PSU having trouble getting off a shot. Then an attacker forces a shot, and the MD goalie with the save.

MD nearly turns it over, but a MD girl flicks the ball on the ground to a teammate. MD in the attacking zone. MD awarded a free position -- not sure why. PSU called for shooting space, so another free position. Appeared the MD girl left early, but they reset the players. MD scores off the free position, 8-17, with 11:49 left.

Sorry guys, but I just don't see much chance that things will change.

PSU loses, 10-20. This is the 2nd year in a row they made it to the Final Four, and lose in the semis.

If MD plays like they did today in the finals, I don't see them losing.

Great season for PSU, but they had the misfortune of facing MD in the semis.

Missy deserves a raise. She's a keeper.

If you get your team to the Final Four 2 years in a row, you're doing more than a few things right.

There are areas for improvement, but they are really close to a ring.

If PSU had won, I would have definitely have watched.

The 2nd semi was supposed to start at 7:30. GameCenter doesn't show any scores, so I'm thinking the 2nd game may have been delayed.

Navy was FLAT OUT JOBBED with 25 seconds to go. They gain possession on a loose ball, call time out and the ref gives the ball back to BC.

The call was so bad that it stunned everyone.

Un-Believable.

Perhaps they called a TO when they didn't have one left?

I didn't see the play, so I'm just speculating
