I remember crowds being excited when specials teams trotted out. it was often the beginning of something good.Captain was a guy named
Tom "Scrap Iron" Bradley.Later he was special teams coach. Do we have a special teams coach or is it done by committee? Sure seems that nowadays we all hold our breath when special teams trot out. Could a designated coach be the answer I note that every team we play has changed to a new formation with three blockers in front of the punter. Remember the effect of the blocked punt at Iowa.Also Ohio State. Could it be that these other guys are on to sumpin!!!!! Jack Collins
