Midway through the match PSU pretty much has it in hand. Up a point after 5 matches with the big boys coming up. Only real downer was Steen getting boat raced and pinned at 125.

Very nice match by Facundo who looks like a "man" as a freshman at 165. Big frame and looks like he could fill out and move up, but unfortunately there is no where to move up to....

As was commented on the broadcast, "nobody loves the deep water like Carter Starocci"

Oh-high-ya coaches constantly giving instruction. Cael gave his instruction in the room during practice, and it's the show now.....

Most of the matches have been very hard fought. They have some good wrestlers who mostly are just a notch below our top guys.

Yep, but when it's all said and done it'll be a 15-20 point win for Cael's boys.

Another good one, "Max Dean is a 200 lb bag of rocks on top".

And a "We Are" chant from the crowd.

In Columbus no less.

How embarassing for oh-high-ya..........

With Kerkvliet on top of Orndorff, it's an athlete on top of a fat boy. It seems Kerkvliet could ride this dough boy for an hour if he wanted to.

I'd like to see Kirkvliet go out for the DE depth chart for Franklin if he decides to take a year off from wrestling.

Oh-high-ya coach is almost as big a cryer as the Brand brothers are.... But it seems if you're getting pummeled by Cael's boys and Cael is just sitting there with his hands folded you may as well cry some.....

Love it!!

Not a wrestling expert— went out for wrestling in 6th grade at Dallastown and after getting thrown around by kids wrestling since age 4, decided to stick with track and cross country— why is Steen still wrestling as he loses every match— is it because it’s hard to find a walk on at such a light weight on campus??

If they win the natty, this may be Caels best coaching job since they are essentially giving up a weight class every meet.

You aren't going to find very many typical walk on types to enter the wrestling room and compete at the level 80% of our wrestling team does.

When 4-6 of our guys are likely to be National All Americans, it just makes the least guy look even worse by comparison.

Steen is a multi time PA State Champion who is undersized for the weight class but the best we have to send out there with Robbie Howard out injured again this year. If healthy, Robbie would be an AA at the weight.
