Lots of distractions with UM. They don’t have the cheat code for Manny’s aggressive D. Allar is in the zone now. I feel good about the W.
i also appreciated psu showing that trick play with both qb's in the game...totally didn't need it to beat maryland, but thx for the heads up,lol....
seriously? Obviously our D will slow them down. But the QB has had one good game in the last month. I don't know how you can feel confident about it.
only one thing makes me feel ok about the game. Under Franklin we have not been good coming off of a bye or a loss. Neither one happened yesterday so that is not a factor.

My guess is Meatchicken knew about that play before PSU did, but Jimmy, like Sergeant Schultz, knew nothing, saw nothing.

After watching us play Ohio State I have no idea how anyone can be even remotely confident heading into this one. Michigan showed against Purdue that they aren't allowing outside distractions to impact them.

Against Purdue, who is really bad, I saw Michigan go into some really slow stretches. they were less impressive than i expected
they jumped out to a 14 pt lead and then purdue played them to a draw for the rest of the first half. i would guess they are not going to be able to easily jump out to a 14 or lead on our defense, so if they bring that level of play next week it could be close
They were up 20-0 then gave up 2 FGs. They then went up 41-6 before giving up a TD with less than 30 seconds left. I mean, if that's "really slow in some stretches" that's scary. Where were these slow stretches? The last 4 minutes of the first half and last minute of the 4th?
after they went up 14 in the first half, they were not good for the rest of the half. it was 6-6 from that point to halftime. and purdue was just bad all around. i am saying that i think we would hang with them if they play the same way next week
After they went up 14 they got a pick on the next play then a FG. Then Purdue went 3 & out then another punt with Michigan going on a 10 play FG drive. I mean, I'd love it that was what our bad stretches looked like in all honesty.
I hope you're right but they played extremely well considering everything since people here thought they'd quit on Harbaugh for some unknown reason.
they didn't play extremely well, IMO. it was not a good showing considering who they played. Purdue was constantly lining up wrong and not getting defenders in place before the snap. i think even some um fans would say that they will lose if they play at that level next week
So, if we play like we did against Illinois, Indiana or Northwestern how much do we lose by?
They were up 41-6 with 18 seconds left. If that level of play worries their fan base--they're in for a long life.
we will get destroyed if we play like we did against indiana and michigan is on at the same time
but michigan leading purdue 41-6 does not translate into much against penn state. that is probably the worst big ten team

didn't see anything like it vs ohio state, and they only used it in a game with lots of margin for error
UM had a good offensive game, but there were some notable miscues, probably due to the bye week layoff...subpar for UM, still in control the whole time..what should be of concern to psu fans is UM's defense...first team defense has looked focused and locked in every single game, and defense travels as they say..psu will be the best defense UM has played all year, but the bigger question is will psu consistently move the ball..pretty sure psu leads FBS at 23-24% of their scoring drives starting on the other teams side of the 50...
