Can we get into wrestling room through the complex now, or do we still have to go to the corner entrance from outside?

Question for the board... Is it still possible to watch the team practice? If so, what times are practice? I will be driving up from Lansdale one day this week to watch if anyone wants to join...

Not sure this week. Have been in room @ 4 a couple times.
Saturdays after youth practices.

My daughter told me that as of this past weekend, the main entrance to the wrestling room was open.

Man, I take a lot for granted. I ASSUMED PSU (and other D1 programs) already had these types of facilities.

lionlover, the most incredible and mind blowing thing is that back in the early 2000's you weren't even allowed to keep your own singlet, PSU wrestling t-shirt, shorts, sweatshirt or sweatpants. You had to give everything back at the end of the season including your jock. Even the cheerleaders get to keep their uniforms. We did get free shoes (Kolats), knee pads and headgear, but I though that was pretty ridiculous that we couldn't keep our own gear after we sweated in it all season.

You want to find the wrestlers? Go over to the sauna in the White Bldg on a Friday/Saturday night. Guarantee you find one or two in there. ;)

I could be mistaken, but I believe the only hot and cold pools for athletes at PSU until this set were at the Lasch Building (football). The wrestlers could use them, but they had to trek to the other side of campus to do so. I suspect that other athletes could access the Lasch pools as well, but that's speculation on my part. As the complex at Rec Hall is where several other teams workout, it would not surprise me if those athletes are also allowed to use these new pools, though again, speculation on my part. I could check, but it's finals week at PSU; not a great time to "bother" people with minor questions like these.

Cael said there's 4 on campus. Didn't know that until tonight. Pegula, BJC, Lasch & Rec Hall.

Opportunity to meet WVB team in hot tub area is a main feature in the University of Kentucky's basketball recruiting model. That and plausible deniability for Rick Pitino.
