I hate the faceoff rule in lacrosse. In football or basketball the opponent gets the ball after you score. In lacrosse you can dominate if you will most of the faceoffs.

But that's the rule and Cornell dominated faceoffs.

It comparable to a faceoff in hockey only possession means more in LAX. Great game...they had a great run. The better team won.

Was at the game and the guys gave it their best shot. Unfortunately, they lost it in the 3rd period. Seemed that Cornell focused and got the possessions, the shots, and the goals. Penn State should have scored more in the 1st period but couldn't get it done. I thought they overachieved this year by making it to the final 4. Enjoyed the pair of highlight reel, behind the back goals by 51 Liam Matthews. Will root for Cornell to win it, as I can never root for MD.

Cornell went on to win the titlem. Well deserved. Thought they were the best team this postseason.
