Play them every twelve years or so. But stop calling it anything close to a rivalry.
When the national media, and even the Big Ten media, basically ignores the game highlights or previews, then it's certainly time to move on. I'd rather start a new rivalry with Appalachian State.
Can you imagine if Ohio State's third string quarterback throws for a TD on his first career attempt.. the FUSS the BTN would make of that, regardless of the score? There is NO WAY that they wouldn't mention it, or neglect to show it on the highlights, as they did with Sean Clifford.
Typically the BTN does a great job of not showing any bias, but after Wandstadt predicting a Pitt win (several times, emphatically), then dropping PSU out of "his" stupid top 5 in the Big Ten list, it is time to get away from the petty jealousy of Pitt alumni and past coaches, and overly-sensitive phoney-outrage beat writers.
That game was as important, or slightly less so, than Akron was last year. Now let's move on.
