QB Christian Hackenberg heads to Manning Passing Academy

He's getting some great learning and networking opportunities. Good for him. I'm sure he will impress a lot of people, on and off the field.

Nice summer gig, if you can get it.
Archie's career NFL stats include 124 TDs and 173 picks. Let's hope he has an admin role. I do not think Hack needs schooled on pick technique. From what I have seen he has that down.:)

While this and other camps/academies are primarily geared towards high school QB's (seeing as how Hack et al are going as counsellors), I have a couple of questions for the board.

1. How much of an opportunity will CH get to spend working on drills with the likes of Payton and Eli? Do the counselors get their own time with the instructors?

2. Based upon what you've observed during his first two seasons, what specific things does CH need help with?

In fairness, Archie played on some really woeful Saints teams. That said, perhaps his biggest physical gift was the ability to procreate.
:)

I've seen a number of references to Hack being a likely 1st round draft choice in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Is it just assumed that he will leave after his junior season, or some sort of indication from family, etc.?

The idiots (kiper, et al) were saying he would go number 1 overall if he was allowed to leave last year. That's money you take and don't look back.

A little bit of negative nabobbery there Dem. We all know Hack has at times tried to do much and turned the ball over. I think its Peyton and Eli's camp btw.

But what a prospect -- bright future.

Hack is on the Heisman watch list. The answer to #2 is apparent in the article.
