My guess is it has to do more with performance regardless of time of enrollment, position and depth at that position.Do early enrollees typically redshirt less often than those who come in in July?
Jim I think that's the idea They want to get up to speed as quickly as possible , not redshirt , but have a spring and fall camp under their belt. Doesn't always work that way but that's the idea

Huh? Both my subject line and the body of my post mention early enrollees. Your post quotes mine and it's right there, early enrollees. What do you want to know about Electrical Engineers? If you are going to use an acronym or abbreviation in your title, make sure it is appropriate and/or of well known common usage. At PSU, if you are an EE, you are an electrical engineering major are an Electrical Engineer graduate.
I fully empathize.Huh? Both my subject line and the body of my post mention early enrollees. ????
Yes......Many realize that spring practice and 6 months in the PSU weight room gets them ready for a shot at some playing time in the fall. Obviously dependent on depth chartsDo early enrollees typically redshirt less often than those who come in in July?
