From what I've listened to and read, the open portions of practice have been drills. Probably nobody has seen anything that would indicate anything about his status yet that gets paid to discuss it.
@cvilleelkscoach usually seems to be a close person to the program and usually has good insight on things, but he is usually reserved with his information.
Yes, cvilleelkscoach has access to practices and as you said, he is very reserved in his commentary on depth until the season begins.
