Hoping for a little bit of help regarding parking on Saturday. Will be making the trip to State College, and my Dad has some mobility issues where a long walk is going to be a challenge for him. Even if we have to park far out from the stadium, is there a shuttle from a public lot which can get us close to the field?

Any recommendation for parking (including what time that lot might fill up) will be greatly appreciated.

Good luck Saturday

I know they run shuttles from the handicap lot but not sure about general lots. If it's not too far, could walk to the handicap lot from wherever you park and ride the shuttle from there. That would save him some walking.

Sounds like you should be parking in or near the ADA lots. ADA pass would have been the best option, but it's probably too late for that. Maybe you can get him to the ADA lots and get on the shuttle there? I'm not sure if they check your pass or anything to get on the shuttle.

PARKING FOR PATRONS USING WHEELCHAIRS

TO PURCHASE IN ADVANCE: 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269)

For fans requiring a wheelchair for mobility, please contact Lisa Clark at 814-867-3687 in advance to purchase the proper parking pass for the designated parking areas near the stadium. Ticket holders must display the appropriate Person with Disability Placard/Plate along with the parking pass.

If you don t have to park in the lots, they run shuttles from the Hills Shopping Center, park in the rear. Also run shuttles from the bus garage out by the airport. Dropoff at Park and Porter rds. Hills shuttle is a couple bucks, airport I think is 10 bucks.

Do you know how close these shuttles get you to the stadium?

Thank you for the help.

Shuttle from Hills letsyou off about a block from Gate B., but there are places to sit and rest along the way.. The ADA shuttle get you to just outside of Gate B. Once inside the stadium they run carts to take you to many areas. If you get to talk to the right people they will do all they can to help you. Good luck Hope your dad has a great time.

The Fullington bus station runs shuttles as I said, and drop off at the corner of Park Rd. and Porter Rd. That would be the northeast corner of Beaver Stadium. It is not a far walk to the nearest gate, but it is uphill. Hills plaza would probably be the better option and is only a couple bucks round trip.

CATA bus shuttles drop you off at University Drive just outside of the Jordan Center. That's about as close as you can get.

Call ICA and see if you can get one of their ADA passes. You can then park in the East Deck or the Katz Lot (by law school). Shuttles from East Deck go to right outside Gate B. Shuttles from Katz Lot go to gate B or A depending on which one you get on. Have a friend that has done both and they are pleased with how close they get.

High highly recommend parking at the East Deck, behind the creamery. The ADA shuttle to the stadium this past weekend was a luxury bus.

If you park in lot 19 on Orchard Road they have spots reserved for handicap. All you need is your yellow parking pass and a handicap placard. They run a bus from the Overnight RV lot that you can catch with minimal walking.

The ADA lot is up on a hill near or in the the Nittany Medical center parking area. It is the lot where if you are coming from the east on Park ave and do not have a parking pass, you are sent. We came down to a game with 2 cars in 2005 and the other car didn't have a pass and I did but we didn't want to get separated so we parked together in that lot. It is about 3/4 of a mile or so from the stadium and is on a higher level than the stadium.
