Just a quick note from this morning's conference calls and I'll have more later. Cam Brown fields questions from reporters first and the initial question regards Manny Bowen. Brown said Bowen's decision to leave the program was rooted in his interest to complete his degree.
"It's not disappointing at all because Manny went ahead and made the decision that he wanted to focus on school and that was it," said Brown. "We weren't really planning on having him back right away so it doesn't really affect too much going on in the room."
Brown couldn't pinpoint when exactly Manny came to his decision but said it's probably come within the past week. That's when, Brown said, "He told us that he wanted to focus on his school and just go ahead and get his degree."
