Spoke with a few sources, along with 2025 wide receiver target Jeff Exinor himself at the Rivals Camp down in Charlotte and it sounds like some things have changed in his recruitment. It sounds like his recruitment has changed a bit and Virginia Tech is now considered the front runner, we have since flipped our FutureCast in favor of the Hokies.
VT had its spring game recently over the weekend and Exinor was in Blacksburg to take in the action. He's been to see the Hokies on multiple occasions this offseason and it seems like momentum is building for a potential commitment there. Rivals has learned that he was closer than ever to announcing a commitment but he is still holding out to take his official visits in June. As of now Virginia Tech, seems to have the inside track in this one and Penn State will have to look elsewhere for WR help.
It also sounds like the Hokies are the team to beat for QB Malik Washington. He hasn't heard as much from Penn State in recent weeks and is favoring the Hokies currently, but like Exinor will take some official visits first before deciding. Right now he has OVs set to check out Maryland, UCF and Virginia Tech.
