Can all you smart people of this message board explain to me what this is Martin posted and process for participating? Has anyone done it? Does it have value if Penn State wrestling does more on platform? I’ve made more money in BTC than anything else in my life because people in the wrestling under world were promoting it heavily years ago.

I'm hardly equipped to talk about this like an expert--but have you seen the posts here? Seems like there are a number of "for beginner" type articles here.

I’ve done it - very nice appreciation in the 4 months I’ve been buying them. I think It has value the more content creators jump on it, which looks likely if Rokfin’s compensation model for its content creators is, indeed, better than that of competitors.
The way to buy it is explained if you hit the Buy RAE tab. I set up a coinbase account, then you need to buy Ethereum. Once your Ethereum is ready to trade, you go on a crypto swap site (in this case Kyber) and swap Ether for RAE. The transaction fee is very high (like 9-10 % if trading is busy), but doesn’t really matter if appreciation is through the roof.

I plan of just holding (hodling in crypto speak) until whenever, but there is a liquidity problem. In order to cash out, you need to reverse the process and pay fees along the way again. Maybe in future it won’t be so cumbersome and the fees get lighter.

I have quite a bit of ETH currently, but not on coinbase. On coinbase I have some BTC and XRP. I would be interested in this but 9-10% is too high. As you already said you'd have to pay that again to trade or sell. If anyone has a better (cheaper) way, I'd be interested to hear it.

I didn't know about RAE- Rokfin until I recently gave a tip off of a post here. As I'm older, my head started to spin reading it and more surprised it has been around for a while for their platform.

I thought about poor Cael not only worrying about perfecting his team's ankle pick but also worrying about the crypto value price for the day .

Cael could end up passing on the premed recruits and only going after the math/finance/accounting recruits.

I had no idea there were so many crypto freaks on the forum. I was introduced to BTC a couple years back when I had a little luck on a few parlay bets on an offshore sportsbook. The only way I could withdraw the $ was with bitcoin. So I set up a digital wallet and transferred most of the $ out, since I figured one day I would try to log on and the web-site would be gone. I totally forgot about it for a year or so and then looked at the value of the wallet and it got my attention. Since I'm obsessive-compulsive I threw myself into learning more about crypto. I'm a believer in the leaders such as BTC and LTC playing a store of value role as Gold/Silver, and ETH/XRP/LINK having utility role (i.e. palladium). It's tough to wrap our heads around, but we have to think like our kids. They have no fear of digital.
As for the plethora of other crypto assets, have fun playing in that sandbox. There will be many more losers than winners. I'd pay the 10% vig, and move to a more established token. I used to be a proud owner of JDS Uniphase stock. It looked great at $100, much better at $500, a life changer at $900, and well now...

You may also want to look into ETFs that invest in companies heavily involved in blockchain tech. I moved money from the 2 dogs in my mutual fund portfolio to 2 Blockchain ETFs and they’ve done really well.

As the Brits say, it’s worth a punt

Become a creator on Rokfin? I would have to assume they have an easier way of selling it, but who knows.

I have a very strong theory that a majority of people who follow this board regularly are massively intellectual. There are exceptions, but this proves over and over to me which is why I felt comfortable posting this question. It’s no surprise we have these types of quick responses.
