You are a board legend. I daresay that you are becoming Bushwoodian. It's not only a gift, it's my new self-adopted approach to "2+2 Reality".
Well, she's a good friend, and I take her concern very seriously. I don't really care what you do, but I would hope you'd not allow your daughter (if you have one) to take this vaccine. We're allowed to have different opinions on this w/out being mocked, ridiculed, and cast aside like fools in a sanitarium. One example with no evidence the vaccine is the actual cause. Have at it back at you.
The PGA Tour's incompetence can only be topped periodically by the PGA of America's. Or the USGA's. Or the R & A's. Give them all a chance. They'll show you what they are made of.I’ll leave the vaccine stuff alone. But I don’t think it was a great look for the PGA to inform Rahm on the 18th hole in front of the cameras. Why couldn’t they have waited until he walked inside? Seems like a poor decision
If you google adolescent menstrual cycles there can be many causes for changes.Well, she's a good friend, and I take her concern very seriously. Perhaps. Perhaps not. The daughter isn't really an "adolescent". She's a sophomore (if I can still use that word) at PSU.If you google adolescent menstrual cycles there can be many causes for changes.
Perhaps your friend's daughter experienced the effects of one of those causes, or perhaps it was the vaccine. One would then have to suggest what the causal relation was in the mRNA treatment which led to this untargeted response.
The same causes can apply to young women as well.Perhaps. Perhaps not. The daughter isn't really an "adolescent". She's a sophomore (if I can still use that word) at PSU.
Yep - and if I'm her Mother, I'm concerned. You understand that as well, right? The same causes can apply to young women as well.
Well it should help his fight with the virus which is what is important in the long run.According to golf writer Jason Sobel. Rahm decided to get vaccinated AFTER he was recently in contact with the person with Covid which was too late - obviously. Sort of like getting insurance right after an accident
No flu shot either.Curious as to whether she gets a flu shot, or is she going to roll the dice with that as the wedding date approaches?
I’m not surprised. Well I hope she stays healthy and if not, doesn’t infect her guests. A friend of mine caught Covid after attending a wedding but he doesn’t know who he caught it from. It was most likely from another guest and this was before the vaccine was available, and several of the attendees got sick shortly thereafter. No flu
No flu shot either.
The $1.6M has already been direct deposited for all we know. Probably not, but maybe so. The tour lights cigars w/ hundred dollar bills.he has a crack(head) legal team
Yep - and if I'm her Mother, I'm concerned. You understand that as well, right?
It's exactly the right way to do things if you want to send a message to the general populace to get vaccinated. Which I believe is the whole intent of the Rahm situation.I’ll leave the vaccine stuff alone. But I don’t think it was a great look for the PGA to inform Rahm on the 18th hole in front of the cameras. Why couldn’t they have waited until he walked inside? Seems like a poor decision
Seeing some of his petulant displays on TV I was not a big fan of Rahm. However, he was on Colt Knosts podcast and admitted that he had a problem, of which he was often embarrassed. Was a real good guy. I hope he does well.
Wow you got me. That’s all the data we need LMAOI think affect is the word you're looking for. My friend told me her daughter's menstrual cycle moved 12 days after taking the vax. Have at it.
Wouldn’t it stand to reason that the only people that may get infected would be others who have chosen not to get vaccinated and then that’s on them - I think we can give the “your killing other people if you don’t get vaccinated” a rest now thankfully - I got vaccinated as has my whole facility but the virtue signaling throughout this pandemic is exhausting by some people.I’m not surprised. I don’t get the “it’s on them part”. If they decide not to get vaccinated, which they have every right to do, shouldn’t we still try to protect them? I would hope that others would try to prevent those unvaccinated folks from catching Covid, rather than saying who cares - they made their decision so let them live (or not) with it.Wouldn’t it stand to reason that the only people that may get infected would be others who have chosen not to get vaccinated and then that’s on them - I think we can give the “your killing other people if you don’t get vaccinated” a rest now thankfully - I got vaccinated as has my whole facility but the virtue signaling throughout this pandemic is exhausting by some people.
But do they affect reproduction? We know that they synthesize proteins that do not occur naturally in the human body. We also know that mRNA trials in animals were halted due to animals dying upon reinfection from antibody dependent enhancement. I guess since they eliminated the lab rats due to high death rates on this stuff, millions of Americans were eager to take their place. He has none. Based upon the science there is very little to no chance these mRNA effect reproduction. There is plenty of data on this.
Has Rahm been sent to the Leper Colony? Or worse yet, Cleveland?I’m at Memorial. It was certainly a circus last night. Anyone Rahm has played with this week has been cleared from contact tracing and will play today.
Nope. That’s Akron.Has Rahm been sent to the Leper Colony (Cleveland)?
If it was your daughter, it would be all you would need to start asking questions, no?Wow you got me. That’s all the data we need LMAO
Unless it’s mandated like some colleges have I think people have the right to decide for themselves - if they inform themselves and decide the risks are not with it then they can make that choice - no one really knows what the long term effects of these vaccines will be since obviously there has been no long term studies. When Fauci or others say they are perfectly safe I think they should caveat that with - with all the information we have so far they appear to be perfectly safe but that may or may not change over time as mor information becomes available.I don’t get the “it’s on them part”. If they decide not to get vaccinated, which they have every right to do, shouldn’t we still try to protect them? Disagree, it’s the most self governed.Golf is probably the most "rules" bound sport there is- expecting them to change their rules makes as much sense as expecting the sun to rise in the west- it isn't going to happen.
BWI poster lj4heisman1 and his buddies on here believe this doctor's twitter post is utter nonsense.
Both my daughters had shots but they are in their 20s. I’ve been in Pharma/ biotech for over 30 years. I’m confident these are safe.If it was your daughter, it would be all you would need to start asking questions, no?
So then you are confident in phase 3 (of 4) trial emergency authorized use whereby established clinical protocols were suspended including animal trials which had to be shut down due to high death rates? I assume that you are aware of the process if your purported experience is correct. Both my daughters had shots but they are in their 20s. I’ve been in Pharma/ biotech for over 30 years. I hope so. I'm not an anti-vaxxer btw (completely on board w/ measles, etc.). I don't like the way this seems to have been rushed, and now seems to be pushed, and flat-out demanded in some cases (a bad combination, imo). Both my daughters had shots but they are in their 20s. Perhaps. Should they not get the shot, what is the probability that they are safe from COVID? Is this a greater confidence than safety from vaccine adverse reactions and long term effects as well as the residual vaccinated COVID infection probability (a significant percentage of positive cases are now vaccinated individuals which is why the CDC is no longer reporting them unless they are hospitalized)? The cost-benefit analysis has to weigh both vaccinated and unvaccinated risks completely for the appropriate risk category (age 20s here and assumed no comorbidities).I think you mean: "I'm confident they are safe to about a 99% level. We cannot, of course, know what we do not know - which are any late developing side effects. All we can know is that similar vaccines have not had any meaningful issues that popped up 5 years later or so."
That's what a good scientist should say.

Perhaps you can articulate exactly why you are confident? I am confident because this is my purported background doesn't cut it. Enlighten us or at least engage in the specifics of the clinical shortcuts and adverse reaction data that you find soothing. Perhaps addressing the COVID risk to 20 year olds is also warranted. All ears here. Drink deep or taste not the Pierian Spring.
Won’t argue about breaking the rules however I will argue it is an assinine rule on so many levels. The PGA informed the players that they would not even need to be tested if they were fully vaccinated. This was in April. You do the math. I did say IF, in capital letters. That’s why the English language is so great. Look, I’ll do it again, IF he was not vaccinated by choice he got exactly what he deserved. See how that IF thing works?
did he test positive for covid?I'm just going to throw this out there, but I have a brother-in-law who was just vaccinated and became deathly ill. He was released yesterday from the hospital after 6 days of hospitalization from effects of the vaccination. I'm not really trying to make a political or medical statement, just pointing out that there are reasons why a person may choose not to be vaccinated and for anyone to presume that they know what's best for another person is quite arrogant.
IF, there’s that word again, he made a conscious choice to not get vaccinated and he then tested positive, largely as a result of that choice, he absolutely deserves the consequences of not being allowed to play.As a medical professional, I find it repugnant to state " IF he was not vaccinated by choice he got exactly what he deserved." Covid is still a potentially a fatal disease. I would never make the statement you did, in particular with political overtones. It's a reprehensible statement. I urge you to reconsider.
