That is not possible. We do not win against teams in our Division. Still, you have never been wrong in this regard so....Much needed win at home over the Cubs
The spirits of Bob Prince, Rosie Rosewell, Roberto Clemente, and Ralph Kiner pulled them through. How did this $hitty team that lost to the Cubs last night and was written off as not getting into the playoffs win tonight? I just don't understand how that can happen.
+1 VERY important win to keep some distance between the Cubs, and take a little momentum into the weekend.Much needed win at home over the Cubs
I have heard football coaches say you need to build your team to win your league or division, In 2015, the Pirates appear to be mismatched in the NL Central. 95 of their games are in the NL Central or 2/3 of the schedule. If they continue to struggle within the division, they aren't going to get where they expect to be. I'm not a Billy Bean, so I don't know what they need in the way of hitting or what kind of pitchers they need to be a dominate team in the division, but to date the Pirates don't have the right combination of players that match up .
Not sure how you're arriving at your math there. There are 4 others teams in the division (STL, CIN, MIL, CHC) and we play each 16 times. 16x4=64.
I did dominate the math sections of the SAT and GMAT though, so could just be me
My error I thought it was 19 games per division team plus I had the Pirates playing themselves
It is 19 games per division team.
Yeah, this is a pretty tough stretch of games ahead. Was very much needed.+1 VERY important win to keep some distance between the Cubs, and take a little momentum into the weekend.
That's not true. The Bucs are winning within the Division at a .391 clip. Although, can't complain. With last night's win my record for games attended moved to 16-5, .762.That is not possible. We do not win against teams in our Division. Still, you have never been wrong in this regard so....
Talk to the GLOV. He knows people that will make sure you attend all the rest of the home games this year. That's not true. The Bucs are winning within the Division at a .391 clip. Although, can't complain. With last night's win my record for games attended moved to 16-5, .762.
Agree, it is a bit of a concern. I sometimes don't get the backlash against any criticism of their play at times. It's almost as if it's off-limits.NorCal, far too many times the Pirates do beat themselves so you're not all together in correct with your calculations.
