I wonder if the WORLD CHAMPION Giants think the Pirates are any good. 5-1 against the G-men this year.

Marte with the walkoff HR.. Jung Ho Kang with (2) solo shots. Melancon gets the win, instead of Cole, but that's OK.... The Bucs certainly know how to win close, tight games and seems someone else steps up game by game. JHay is back and Mercer is ready too, but now both may play utility roles and spot starters. This team is rolling. BTW, the Cubbies win again and the division is without question the best division in baseball right now.
Ginormous effort by Cole. The way he was able execute under pressure (usually due to some tough luck and lousy D) was truly "Ace" stuff
Despite not getting the W, might have been his most impressive outing of the year

Last Sunday I posted about a dream I had where we were in 1st place when the last game was played on Labor Day....and so we shall be.
Agree completely. Getting Bumgarner, greinke, or arietta would not be good.
