Does this lead to the first mid-season ranking for PSU since 2011? I think so, although we will probably be very low as some writers refuse to give us any votes.

Amazingly, an 8-win season now looks very plausible, and a 9-win season is even possible. I will not claim that a 10-win is at all likely.

There is nobody left on the schedule that truly scares me like osu or um but there is plenty of potential to lay an egg with such a young team. I worry about iowa and indiana... two interesting opponents that may give us troubles in different ways. We will beat up rutgers and msu, we should beat up purdue but that game could be closer coming off the emotional high.
