Re watched game.some observations..Malone and Cambel penalty

Was Mahone's block a penalty? 15 yarder..plus took off a nice gain...killer call..affected play calling which led to turnover. Looked like a good block. What is the rule? Herbie said block was on the side, needed to be in front.

Cambel PI was pathetic. One of the worse calls I've ever seen. Interference on Iowa if anything. Iowa receiver was holding Cambel's arm.

Haley interception did hit the ground, no doubt. Could see it on back camera.
Mcsorley fumble was correct. I'm ok with that.

Holding call on Irving questionable. Iowa defender held Irving too. If you make that call, you can call most players for holding every play.

Scot missing Wadley on td catch was pivotal. Would Apke had made that tackle?

Apke was in the game, and did not make the tackle either
I guess Scott was in for Allen that play

The penalty on Cambel was a joke. The Iowa WR needs to get in the weight room, as his futile attempt to run through Campbel was pathetic. Didn't have the speed or the strength to do much. But with B10 officials some teams get rewarded for being less talented and good acting.....

That PI on Campbell was a bad call.....but he also got away with one later in the game.

I believe the ball can touch the ground if the receiver has control when it does. I thought the pick was good.

Yes, for that reason and also because #11 is a penalty machine. They'll be watching him.
