Smashing the all time point record and crowning 6 champs was equally impressive considering how strong the #2 team was. OSU may just give tOSU a run for their money at Nationals for runner up this year with several finalist candidates.

My first gut reaction is the Cowboys may knock the Bucknuts down to third.

One thing I know for certain is if the Hawks wrestle the tournament of Tom Brands' coaching career the best they can do is a distant 4th.

I’m curious who would be finalist candidates for OSU? I think they have a lot of AA candidates but finalist would be a stretch for most of their guys.

125 Picc would have to beat Lee, Rivera, or Bresser. Jack Mueller is back as well
133 Fix looks outstanding but beating Gross, Micic, Suriano, and/or Wilson is asking a lot
141 Brock hasn’t looked near as good up a weight. Yianni, McKenna, Eierman, and Nick Lee are well ahead of him
149 Gfeller or Lewallen will be hard pressed to get by Kolodzik, Ashnault, or Jordan
157 Shomers barely top 20
165 Rogers is a fringe AA. Cenzo, Marinelli, Wick, Marsteller, Shields, White, Massa, and Lewis are better
174 Joe Smith looked very good but less than 0.1% chance final isn’t Hall vs Valencia
184 Jacobe Smith decent but top of this weight is too strong with Martin, Parker, Rasheed, and Reenan
197 Geer or Weigel aren’t beating Nickal or Moore
285 White is probably their best shot but going to have to beat Steveson, Stoll, Cassar, Hemida, and/or Dhesi

I believe that Iowa and okie state have a dual in Feb. That could tell a lot.

I listened to the Scuffle, since I don't have Flo. But it sounded like the Hall-Smith match was very tight. Hall beating ZV is even bigger with an improved Smith. Let them battle it out in the 2-3 match...
