I am gonna put down some team ranks and wanted to get some discussion on what people think. Looking at the past 5 years, other then 2014 we have struggled to stop the run, haven't been great on 3rd down and haven't been great in opponent pass percentage, although 2011 we were solid in that department. Scoring defense was really good in 2011 and 2014. Amazing how we struggled in some key areas in 2015 with our sack totals, Penn State tied for #1 nationally in total sacks. If you can't stop the run and get off the field in 3rd down then you are gonna be in some trouble, Bradley performed a Houdini act in 2011 limiting scoring. Must have got pretty tough in the red zone to have such a solid scoring defense. Roof did a much better job then people give him credit for in 2012, solid against the run, competition percentage, total sacks and scoring.
