Marlton, N.J., Cherokee Ath. Jon Lovett officially backed out of his commitmet to Rutgers Monday evening.
As Ive said a few times, I think it's only a matter of time until the 2017 prospect switches to Penn State. His girlfriend is currently a freshman at PSU and he loved his visit for the Ohio State game.
He took an official visit to Iowa this past weekend, which was good, but Im pretty confident he'll end up at PSU.
He still hasnt set his Penn State official visit. I double-checked tonight and was told the same thing, which is that the staff would prefer he takes it in January with all the other committed players (Jan. 20-22). Franklin and his assistants also want Lovett to take an unofficial visit for the Mich State game, so I'll be watching that next week.
