I caught up with Class of 2017 five-star defensive end Josh Kaindoh this weekend.
Overall, not a whole lot that I didn't expect. He's still calling PSU his leader, but he did admit that other schools are closing the gap, which is something I've been trying to stress since the summer. PSU was able to get a head start over most schools. They were able to get him on campus early, which sparked Kaindoh's interest in initiating weekly conversations with the staff.
However, since the start of September, now everyone can initiate conversations with him via social media, so he's talking to quite a few more coaches today than he was back in the summer.
