Penn State joined the race for Class of 2017 three-star defensive lineman Jacub Panasiuk this week, extending an offer Monday to the 6-foot-4, 260-pounder from Roselle, Ill. On Tuesday he announced his top four schools and PSU made the cut.
I caught up with Panasiuk last night to see where things stand. You can read a couple of his comments at the link below. While the offer came in time to make his cut-down list, it's not going to leave enough time for Panasiuk to get back to PSU before his decision June 14. He says he's seen what he needs to from PSU, but as a lot of you probably were already thinking, this is Michigan State's recruit to lose.
