I was able to catch up with Ricky Slade Sr. this morning to recap his son's visit to PSU. Following their trip in February, I thought that Penn State would be the mix, but still had work to do. Now, I'm not ready to say that they're the early favorite or anything like that, but I do feel pretty confident that PSU should absolutely make his top five.
Like a lot of top offensive prospects, how PSU performs on the field will be really important here. With that said, when it comes to relationships and the school itself, PSU has made a major impression on Slade, which is great. Two visits in two months says a lot, in my opinion.
