As most of you saw by now, Ath. Damani Neal is expected to be back at Penn State this weekend. Like Ive said before, I'll be watching him for a commitment every time he visits. PSU holds a healthy lead over the other schools.
I wanted to also pass it on that Im expecting OL Micah Clark to return to Penn State again this weekend. He was on campus just two weeks ago, so that's a positive sign. He doesnt talk much, so Im not sure where else he's visited or what schools are standing out, but this is another positive sign that PSU sits in a good position with Clark.
However, I have also confirmed that OL CJ Thorpe and TE Matthew Dotson will no longer be making the trip this weekend. Thorpe will be going to Pitt, while Dotson's coach would prefer that he sticks around for Saturday morning's post-game film session from his game the night before. He should make it to a game before the end of the year.
From talking to contacts, those are the four main prospects that are/were expected Saturday, but I will reach out to others tonight to see who else may be making the trip. As has been the case in recent weeks, there should be around 25-30 total. Most are potential walk-ons.
