I had some questions about top-ranked defensive tackle Rashan Gary earlier, so I reached out to some contacts this morning.
As of now, nothing is set, but I was told that he and his mother are in the process of setting a visit to Penn State "sometime in April."
From what I was told, I don't think it'll be for the spring game. He and his mother want to have a personal day with the staff, which is smart. I'm sure the coaching staff would also prefer that.
I know Rashan is going to Michigan and Ohio State this weekend. He's expected to visit South Carolina, Clemson and Georgia then next week, in the first week of April, so I'm looking for something to be scheduled sometime between April 5-17.
I'm going to check in on this every few days for the next week or so. Again, nothing is set at this time, but it does look likely that he'll be visiting Penn State before the end of spring practice.
