My fault. Forgot to link this yesterday. I was rushing to get to camp and didn't load this on the board.
I caught up with Rivals250 DE Donovan Jeter this afternoon to talk about his trip to Penn State yesterday. Jeter kind of keeps to himself - for what I've seen at camps and visits in the past - so he wasn't really hanging out with many of the committed guys yesterday. He said he spent most of his time with the other top 2016 and 2017 WPIAL prospects that were in attendance.
However, I don't think his relationships with some of the committed guys is going to matter all that much. He once again admitted that PSU is the favorite, so things look good. He is going to Ohio State on Friday night for its camp and is expecting to get an offer, so that'll be something to watch closely, but I still think PSU will sit pretty here with Jeter.
The staff was on him very early and I think that means a lot. When compared to the other top schools that are recruiting him, Franklin and his assistants are also in touch with him much more regularly, so there are plenty of reasons to feel good about PSU's chances here.
