I caught up with four-star DT Ellison Jordan of Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School last night to talk about this weekend's PSU visit, which actually lasted an extra day. The battery in his family's car died last night before they were to head home, so they decided to get a hotel and get it fixed this morning.
While he has yet to start narrowing his list of offers, his few days in State College definitely left a solid impression. The academic support, graduation rates, etc., really stood out to the Jordan family and the opportunity for early playing time especially stood out to Jordan. He's not naming favorites yet, but PSU is in a great spot early. Jordan said he has no timeframe for a commitment right now; he's still discussing that with his parents. He'll visit Rutgers this week. He'll return to Penn State for spring practice or the Blue-White Game and then check out some other schools, he said, before narrowing it down.
He talks about all that and more at the link below.
