Recruiting is not like I remember. Too many decommittments, PSU cannot win any head to head recruiting battles against Ohio State and Michigan. Every time we lose out on a recruit we get further behind Myer and Harbaugh. Our recruiting classes have been better the last three years, but it is not enough. I dot not blame the coaching staff for all of it. We need two top ten recruiting classes back to back to get up to par with Myer and Harbaugh. Some people will not agree with this post, but it is what it is. I hope the qb commit we have for 2017 keeps his commitment to us, because he might be the only 250 player we get in 2017. The negative recruiting will continue , it is disheartining and very dificult to watch. I have been going to football games since 1975, I believe to get to the top of the big ten east is four or five years away. I never thought it would take so long to come.back to elite. I am a realist I do not base things on hope. At my age I am afraid the longer it takes to be elite the less optimism I will have. I am sorry if I offended anyone with this post.
