Penn State recently joined the growing list of offers for three-star DE Xavier Kelly of Wichita (Kan.) East. Although he said the offer "came out of the blue," he added that Penn State has been one of the schools recruiting him heaviest as of late, something he seemed to appreciate.
He has plans to see 15+ schools this summer and said he's trying to fit a visit to Penn State in there as well, but nothing has been set up yet. Kelly has a bunch of options and says he's open to all of them, so PSU will need to make sure he gets on campus this summer in order to stay under consideration. Definitely an uphill battle and PSU might be joining it a bit late, but Charles Huff, especially, has Kelly at least considering the offer. More at the link below.
