I'm going to do my best to speak with as many prospects I can this evening. I'll reach out to prospects for another two hours or so. If anyone gets back to me after 10 PM, I'll obviously post, but I try not to call these guys past 10 PM. I wouldn't want strangers calling my kids after that hour.

Most of these guys also don't want to talk right now. They always want to text on the ride home and then talk the next day, so some of their responses will be kind of generic. I know you guys want feedback asap though, so I'll get what I can and try and get more details tomorrow.

Prospects not on the original list

WR Shaquon Anderson-Butts - 2018 - Picked up offer from the staff
DE Tyjuan Garbutt - 2017 - Picked up offer from the staff

Prospects expected to attend that didn't

DE Josh Kaindoh - 2017
LB Avery Roberts - 2017
DE Chase Young - 2017

- If you would like to read the original visitor list, Click Here. I've removed the guys that didn't show, but I still have to add Butts and Garbutt.

OL Robert Hainsey - FILM - Monroeville, Pa. - Gateway - 2017

- I asked about camp last night.

"Camp was good. Coach Hand gave me some real good insight on my pass sets. I learned a lot."

- On which prospects he hung out with the most today.

"I hung around all the WPIAL guys. We talked about where we might go to school and on this upcoming season."

- On what the staff said about his performance last night

"Coaches said my camp was very good and they were impressed with me."

- As I posted earlier, after talking to his dad last night, it's still a bit too early for Hainsey to make a commitment. They really want to wait until the season starts. Come September, they'll be able to speak with coaches much more frequently and that's really important to Rob's dad. He wants to get a better feeling for all of these coaches before Rob makes a move. All that said, I still feel confident that PSU is the leader. I think it's also just a matter of time. They have a healthy lead.

DT Fred Hansard - FILM - Princeton, N.J. - Hun School - 2017

- On which prospects he hung out with the most today.

"I spent most of my time with QB commit Sean Clifford and the DL commits, mainly Michael [Dwumfour] and Ellison [Jordan]. We talked a lot about why they chose PSU. I know they really like it there.

- On what he talked to the coaches about

"I talked to them a lot about their defense. I learned a couple things today. It was mainly just about catching up. It was casual."

- On what he likes the most about Penn State right now

"Well, all the commits are really cool. I like those guys a lot. Also, I'd say the general atmosphere and the coaches. They have a good family feel."

- Any chance he visits other schools before the season starts?

"I'm trying to visit Miami and North Carolina up because I'm going on vacation to both of those places."

- Going into today, I thought Penn State was the leader with Hansard and that mindset has only strengthened after catching up with him. I actually had one contact inform me today that they believed Hansard could make a commitment before leaving campus, but I wasn't quite as confident, which is why I didn't note that. Happy I didn't, as he's now on his way home. Hansard has only visited Rutgers and Syracuse so far, but as noted above, he wants to see a few other schools this summer. His school also plays the majority of their games on Saturday, so he won't be able to visit a lot of schools this season. I think that could work in PSU's favor. They hold a solid lead at the moment and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he were to commit this season.

OL Johnny Jordan - FILM - Washington, D.C. - Gonzaga - 2017

- On who he spent most of his time with today

"I spent a good amount of time with Coach Hand. We were talking about camp tomorrow and how he would love to work with me again. I also talked to Cam Spence for a little bit. We talked about how nice the place was and how they are really building something special here at PSU."

- More specifics on his discussion with Hand

"It was mainly just about camp tomorrow. He said he wants to get some more work in with me and see how I do as a center or a guard. We didn't talk about where I am on their board right now, but hopefully a good camp tomorrow can move me up on their board.

- On what stands out about PSU currently

"With their history, it's weird to say that PSU is working their way back into the national stage as a powerhouse, but that's exactly what they're doing. Coach Franklin is really brining that program in the right direction. I'm looking forward to seeing their updated facilities when the construction is complete. They are also really building a family atmosphere, too, which is what I like to see. I want that feeling at whichever school I attend.

- Jordan's father is a Penn State alum, so he has some connections to the school. I believe the staff has real interest in him and I do believe he could pick up an offer at some point down the road. They've already targeted their main offensive line prospects for 2017, but I think Jordan could definitely be one of the guys that receive an offer once a few others eliminate PSU or commit elsewhere. He wouldn't have been at the Lasch Bash today if he was in that third or fourth tier on their OL board.

ADDED: 9:27 PM

LB David Adams - FILM - Pittsburgh, Pa. - Pittsburgh Central Catholic

- On who he spent most of his day with

"I talked to Coach Pry and Coach Smith a lot. I also spent a good amount of time with Coach Shoop. The coaches and I talked about how many spots they plan to have at linebacker for the 2016 and the 2017 class. They told me that, (on average), they plan to have two spots for linebacker in each class."

He went on to add, "The 2016 class and what happens there will impact what happens and how many they take in my class."

- On what he likes the most about Penn State at the moment

"I like a lot about PSU. The fans are amazing, the staff is amazing. Just the overall atmosphere they have there, I really like the way they go about things. It was a really good day."

- On any other upcoming visits before the season starts

"I'm visiting Notre Dame on July 31st. I'm visiting Ohio State on August 1st. Those are the only two I have setup right now."

- Just like Hansard, I thought PSU should be considered the favorite heading into today's visit and nothing has changed. If anything, I feel more confident now than before. Not much else to add really. Adams has been one of their top LB targets for months now and I feel like it's a pretty safe bet that he'll be a Nittany Lion sometime in the future.
