A recent offer from Michigan has intensified the recruitment of three-star Ohio OL Joel Honigford, who now considers the Wolverines' offer to be among the top with Auburn, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Penn State.
Joe Moorhead and Terry Smith were at his high school yesterday but only were able to meet up with Garaway's head coach. Honigford otherwise stays in contact with Moorhead and Matt Limegrover often and is supposed to be talking with James Franklin today over the phone. That said, I did get the sense that Michigan and Michigan State are the teams to beat right now. Ohio State, too, is the favorite but the coaches are asking him to camp this summer to earn an offer. He's still contemplating that idea.
