Just got back from the Trinity vs Camp Hill rubber-match in the District 3 AA Title Game. Pretty entertaining game overall, Trinity (who was trialing 28-19 at half) pulled out a 55-50 win for the Three-peat.

But bone of you care about that. Here's the PSU news:

First, Camp Hill:

- 2018 TE target Zack Kuntz was impressive. Very solid game, although he was a focal point defensively in the second half and was more or less shut down the last 16 minutes. What's important to note are his "football related" skills.

1. I'd day about 75% of the time, if the ball touched his hand on a rebound attempt, he pulled it down (which is impressive). He was also going up against 6'10'' Sean Good (more on him later) and a 6'8'' kid (forget his name). He was a sure handed target on the football field last fall and he has the strength to come down with contested balls.
2. With that said, I look at him and I'm pretty amazed at how lanky he is. I know his oldest brother who was very lean, but another older brother (Christian) was a PWO at Penn State and is a Brick sh*t house. At this stage, he's behind where Christian was physically. A summer in the weight room will help.
3. He's a fluid athlete for 6'7''. I saw him on the football field this past fall and was impressed and I was again tonight. He's not a fast-twitch athlete by any stretch of the imagination, but he's going to be tough for a Linebacker to cover.

-2016 PWO QB Michael Shuster. It's clear that basketball isn't his best sport, but his athleticism was obvious. I believe he's listed at 6'2'' and is a pretty well-built kid. As a QB, I expected him to be more of a floor general, but he's not the team's point guard and wasn't obviously vocal (from where I was sitting at least). He'll fit in fine physically and his football knowledge is very good.

For Trinity:

- 2018 C/PF Sean Good. Now before I get into this, I heard from a few T-High fans that Good had been sick all week, so his performance probably as not 100% of what he really can offer. He actually did not even start the game tonight which was a huge surprise to me.
1.The 6'10'' monster was a big factor defensively (probably 5 or so blocks), but I was pretty disappointed with him on the boards. He had pretty poor technique boxing out and he's not overly physical or aggressive (again, could have been illness).
2. Offensively, he's successful because he's 3+ inches taller than just about everyone he plays against. Kuntz did a great job against him tonight. When he was successful, it was with a drop step, power dribble the baseline side. Now we're talking about PIAA officials, but he got away with a pretty obvious hook 3 times tonight. He won't be able to do that at the next level. He also has to develop some pure post moves instead of just over-sizing people. A baby hook, a mid-range J, anything. You can't teach size, but I'd like to see him develop more before Penn State makes a real push for him. Again, only a Sophomore, but very raw.

Best player in the floor was Jr G/F Timmy Edwards. Not recommending a PSU scholarship, but he just has the "it" factor. Went for 15/9 with a steal and a block. Not a great handle and a little unorthodox shot, but was easily the District 3 AA tournament MVP in my opinion.
