I know some of you saw this, but I wanted to make a post that everyone will notice.
Two 2017 prospects, OL Robert Hainsey and LB Jordan Anthony - both of which visited last weekend - announced on Twitter today that they'll be transferring to IMG Academy.
Before anyone asks, we just have to see how they adjust before I know how that impacts PSU. It's never good when big-time local prospects leave and go down south. That'll impact their ability to visit PSU this season and it'll also allow them to earn much more interest from elite programs down south.
That said, there have been prospects that leave home too early and become homesick. Rahshaun Smith is a good example. He's since visited Maryland multiple times since returning to Baltimore for the summer, so only time will really tell.
Regardless, I still think PSU should be able to land Hainsey. They have probably his strongest player-coach relationship.
