As most of you know by now, Penn State is expected to host Woodbridge (Va.) C. D. Hylton RB Ricky Slade this weekend. Since he's a 2018 prospect, Slade isn't ranked just yet, but I'm confident that he'll be a Rivals100 prospect. He also has a real chance to be a five-star prospect, so getting him on campus this weekend is big for the staff. I posted an update on him yesterday. Click Here if you want to read what his father told me when we talked the other day.
I have also confirmed that Penn State will host Ashburnham (Mass.) Cushing Academy OL Austin Pyne this weekend. I still need to learn more on where Pyne ranks on the staff's board. As of now, I don't expect him to pick up an offer in the near future, but the staff wouldn't be hosting him on a random weekend - especially since the Junior Day is in two weeks - if they didn't have real interest, so I think he's a prospect that we'll have to watch down the road.
