Lots of good stuff from WR Sean Savoy about the PSU offer he earned Saturday at the link.
As a summary: he went into the visit expecting the offer, as he's grown pretty close with Charles Huff over the past few months. Coaches just wanted him to get on campus first, talk things over with James Franklin before offering. Savoy didn't want to get into specific orders or rankings, but tells me PSU now sits "very high" on his list. I get the impression Miami is PSU's top competitor, possibly Virginia Tech, too, but right now his only other scheduled visit is to Miami in a month. I'll be watching that visit date (June 23) to see if he indeed makes the trip. If not, that bodes very well for PSU, IMO, but we'll see on that.
No timeline for a decision right now, he says, but he is hoping to get back to PSU for a game this fall and possibly for the Lasch Bash in July. Savoy has a previous connection with RB Mark Allen, so the two have been talking a little bit. Savoy has also been talking to some of the commits, and he heard a lot of talk about the upcoming barbecue during his visit, so that's a date to watch for him to possibly return.
