Reminder ... Basketball is the worst!

I timed the end of a game once. 34 minutes for last 3 minutes. And it was a 10 point lead
Immediate fix - cut timeouts in half.

The 10 point lead is the worst. If it’s a 1 or 2 point game they play and don’t foul. 10 point area is horrific
the best suggestion i've heard to cure this issue is to play until there's 2-3 minutes left in the game. then whatever score is highest, add 7 to it, and whoever reaches that number first, or is leading when time runs out, wins.
the losing team doesn't incessantly foul because that helps the winning them reach the target faster. it remains a normal game of basketball, not a free throw and 3 point shooting contest.

The combination of fouling and seemingly endless timeouts at the end of the game makes me hate the sport.
Rollie Massimino was the worst. He’d be down by 10 with 30 seconds and foul 5 times
I guess I’m a bit of a rarity in that I love both sports.
