Maybe all the lies and spinning from the Left about Durham's appearance in the House yesterday had a very important second motivation. Somehow the crushing testimony of Riley Gaines (and the ridiculous testimony of the "males pretending to be women" crusader) about tranny participation in women's sports went unreported here.

A brief summary:
1. Riley Gaines answered all questions directly and made her points powerfully. The other woman couldn't/wouldn't answer if men and women were the same physically.
2. The concept of "feminism" was raised. Dem/Soc apparently now reject it totally. They want to protect a very small portion of the population's "rights" at the expense of the actual non-made up rights of 50% of the population. Title 9 was enacted to promote women's sports and ensure that there would be a protected environment where women could realize their right to participate in sports fairly and with equal status to men's sports. What the Dem/Socs want is for any biological male who declares his gender to be "female" to have their rights to participate in women's sports and to expose themselves in women's locker rooms protected and that biological women's rights are to be subjugated to that. Does that sound like a feminist approach? Does that sound like the intent of Title 9?
3. The tranny advocate lied and said that men and women are the same for purposes of athletic competition. Sen Cruz asked her then, "why have women's sports at all then"? Why not just have one team for every sport open to all genders?
4.Among some of the Dem/Socs most ridiculous positions were (1) that to be against biological men competing with biological women was "transphobic" and (2) Sen Durbin's assertion that merely asking questions about the subject would cause confused and fearful trannies to commit suicide. Yes, he said that.

From the article:

Later in the hearing, Gaines pushed back and told Durbin he needs to think about biological women and girls who she said are at a disadvantage competing against trans people.

"Sen. Durbin, in your opening statement, you had mentioned this rhetoric," she said. "You had mentioned that, what message does it send to trans individuals? And my comeback to that is, what message does this send to women, to young girls, who are denied of these opportunities?"

"So easily, their rights to privacy and safety thrown out of the window to protect a small population, protect one group as long as they're happy," she said. "What about us? That is the overall general consensus of how we all felt in that locker room."

Rather than answering directly, Durbin argued that there was "no evidence" transgender women perform better than those born that way
.

As to this last paragraph, recently a team of retired male soccer players beat the reigning world's women championship team 12-0. Also, Tranny "Lea" Thomas was ranked 120 something when he competed as a man, but won the same event in the women's division as a tranny. hmmmm Don't let the facts get in your way, there, Durbin, you AH.

WTF, do Lefties here go along with this? This is nothing more than Left Wing Nut Job politics over common sense and fairness to a huge portion of our society. When you vote Dem/Soc at any level, you are aiding and abetting this craziness.
