Drummer on the band with his brother Randy. Had several major hits with a strong drumbeat. Also, the Randy Bachman was a founding member of The Guess Who which had several hit albums in the 70s.

Always amazes me how so many songs come about. The song writing process is not all what I thought as a youngster. It is far more random and serendipitous than I ever imagined.
