Okay so I've been working on this thing for a little bit that compares rivals recruiting team ranking to the AP poll. What I did was take all the power 5 conferences and a couple of other and averaged out their team recruiting rank between 2012-2015. Now this does not take into account red shirt seniors and freshmen or transfers. For all of you who will say "well you should factor this number and that number and find the theta and blah blah blah" shove it I have a life. These were the average ranking of rivals...

1 Bama- 1.25
2 OSU- 4.75
3 FSU- 5.75
4 USC- 8
5 LSU- 8.5
6 Auburn- 8.75
7 Georgia- 9.25
8 Florida- 9.5
9 Texas A&M- 10.5
10 Clemson- 11.25
11 ND- 11.25
12 Tenn- 12
13 UCLA- 12.5
14 Okla- 13.75
15 Texas- 14.5
16 Miami- 16.5
17 South- C 17.75
18 Oregon- 19.5
19 Ole Miss- 22
20 Mich- 23.5
21 V Tech- 24

That's 10 SEC Schools in the top 25 and 6 in the top 10. 3 for the BIG, 4 for the ACC, and 5 for the Pac 12. PSU ranked 28th with an average ranking of 29.5.Now compare those to the AP top 25 at the end of last year's season.
