Trump is sitting there like a king. What is the old line? The best revenge is success.
Biden is cooked. He won’t survive the weekend. Then who? It isn’t just Biden. It is an entire administration that hid this condition that put America at risk. Now the party claiming that Trump would be the end of democracy is throwing out their votes and picking a candidate with the party elites in a smoke filled back room. Meanwhile, Trump sits back and watches having been elected in a fair primary season.
And it isn’t just that. The entire media has been exposed as corrupt liars who also put themselves above constitutional norms by participating in this charade. They weren’t fooled. They didn’t just allow this to happen. They were active participants. Who will ever forget morning Joe’s’ ‘this is the best Joe Biden ever’ rant weeks ago? Anyone watching him for anything other than train wreck entertainment is delusional.
They’ve all been exposed. Liars. Cheaters. Hypocrites. Narcissistic, corrupt race baiters.
We also know that many old school republicans were in on it. McCain and the Bush era never trumpers. But they are gone now.
I am not and have never been a Trump fan. But he is the necessary evil. He broke the Clinton, Obama, Biden axis of evil who eschewed laws and morals to retain power at any cost. Imagine the strength. Hillary retreated when she lost. Everyone else did too. Trump doubled down despite tremendous pressure and personal loss.
He won. He beat them all. A political performance like we’ve never seen.
Let’s hope he governs with some humility. When the pendulum swings it often swings too far. Go after the political careers of pelosi, Schumer, and Schiff. Fair game. Go after the credibility of the NYT, WaPo and CNN (although to their credit, CNN has pivoted). But be careful not to go after citizens who were brainwashed with progressive ideology and twenty years of corrupt media.
