Yes, he is the DC at Michigan and a very highly regarded. They apparently coached together at UConn and yes, I am sure he is tired of Jimmy.

Bill Greene is an idiot. Six years isn't a "long way." Moorhead and Brown coached together for one year at UConn.
That said, Brown would be a great choice if Moorhead could lure him to Starkville. I think Michigan would be more than prepared to match whatever Miss State could offer.

1.If the defensive coordinator leaves michigan to be a defensive coordinator at Mississippi state, that is a pretty good steal. Regardless of how good he is, Michigan used to be an important program and Miss State is on their way there.
2. You realize we won the Big Ten last year right? You finished 3rd in your own division.

Penn State will be battling Ohio State year in and year out for the Big Ten title and the CFP, and Michigan will be an afterthought (again). I have been to Starkville. It is a pit but the people are fine folks. I am currently in Ann Arbor on a business trip. It is a pit and the people are douches. The Miss St job has a lot more upside potential than the Michigan job.

Not sure what inch or 2 you're talking about. But whatever it is is speculation. I'll tell you what isn't speculation...with a team that had 11 players drafted and a supposed genius for a coach Michigan lost 3 of their last 4 games, with their one win coming in totally uneventful fashion against Indiana at home, to finish 3rd in their division. No speculation there. Just facts. So maybe whenever Michigan actually finishes say 2nd in the B1G East then maybe I'll worry about them. For now, nothing but overblown, undeserved hype.
