What are the opinions here on who our best pass blocker is at the running back position? Among Thomas, Allen and Barkley, which one is the best? We'll obviously have to wait and see with Sanders and Robinson, but I'd be interested to know any opinions on the newcomers relative to pass blocking ability. Our line has been such a sieve the past two seasons that I could not even evaluate this issue as there were often multiple defenders in the backfield immediately after the ball was snapped, but I'm sure some of the experts on here see a lot of things that I don't.

Like everyone else, I'm hoping that our o-line steps up this year so we do not have to keep a running back in to block as often has we have the past two years. I'd love to see Sanders in the slot with Barkley in the backfield, with Barkley being a legitimate receiving option on passing downs, rather than needing to keep him in to block all of the time. But when we do keep the running back in to block from time to time, who is going to be the best guy for that particular job? I'm hoping it's Barkley. I'm also hoping that with the mobility that both Stevens and McSorley bring to the table, we move the pocket a bit more on passing plays, and decrease the need for the extra blocker.
