There are lots of reports that Russian cruise missiles fired from Navy ships in the Caspian Sea have exploded in N Iran. So whats really going on?
Did the missile's guidance systems fail and they just flew until they ran out of fuel? Error in targeting data? Or did they intentionally attack targets in Iran? As a close ally of Iran, did they do so with Iran's knowledge and permission? Northern Iran is a Kurdish area, IIRC. Perhaps they targeted Kurdish rebels for Iran like the PKK.
